“The End of the Tragedy” is about nothing less than the possibility of choice – the release of our personal suffering running under the universal pain of existence. I’m not talking about collective suffering, which concerns illness and death, but the personal tragedy that affects the subject within a culture. The tragedy of the lack or distortion of identity, of self-reflection within a community, within a culture. This tragedy can be completed when we want it to be.

Blurring the boundaries between fine art and body art, Csaba Kis Róka makes his distinctive visual world available in the form of tattoos – using only his own, original designs, each applied just once. Those who choose to be marked by his needle under hyper-sterile conditions will carry a one-of-a-kind artwork on their skin. Price: by agreement. Location: JPM Szerecsen Pharmacy Museum
